NORFOLK – Expanding the stretch of Highway 275 from east of Norfolk to north of Fremont would dramatically boost the state’s economy. That’s according the Creighton University economist, Dr. Ernie Goss, who Tuesday revealed his findings of a study commissioned by the group 4 Lanes 4 Nebraska. Goss also said his study revealed that widening the highway would contribute to between 40 to 60 fewer accidents in a 15 year period and save commuters $7 million a year in reduced fuel costs, due to shorter commute times. Goss announced his findings Tuesday in West Point and Norfolk.
